The Law Office of Jeffrey B. Gandel was founded by Jeffrey Gandel almost 20 years ago. After graduating from Cardozo Law School, Jeff began his career as in-house counsel for Tuff City Records, a label specializing in Hip Hop and catalog reissuing, and within six months he was head of the legal department. In that capacity he handled all of legal matters, including all day to day corporate matters, sample clearance agreements, and overseeing numerous major copyright litigations.At the same time, Jeff opened the Law Office of Jeffrey B. Gandel.
Over the last 20 years, the firm is focused on intellectual property law based in the entertainment and technology industries, including music, movies, TV, music concerts and festivals, digital media, merchandising, technology, videogames, and corporate matters.
Our firm has negotiated agreements with major companies in the United States and throughout the world in almost every area of the entertainment industry, including agreements in music and TV in the US, Europe and other areas throughout the world, live music festivals both in and outside the United States, and technology agreements around the world.
